The hazard system in "Radiative Lifeline" is a pivotal aspect of the gameplay, introducing four distinct types of radiation hazards, each serving different functions and strategically distributed throughout the level to enhance the challenge. These hazards not only escalate the difficulty but also add depth to the player's strategic planning. Players and NPCs receive different debuffs based on the type of radiation they encounter, while enemies gain specific buffs, creating a dynamic and ever-changing combat environment. Capsule rooms serve as safe havens where players can cleanse radiation damage and gather resources, providing much-needed relief and serving as pivotal waypoints in the journey. This system ensures that the gameplay remains engaging and challenging, with the radiation theme tightly woven into the narrative, making the player's choices and survival tactics deeply meaningful.
